History

In 1985, a group of the more progressive business people in the community got together for the original purpose of helping to raise funds for a new building and related facilities being built by the Newberry Township Fire Company. Through local business pledges, a successful effort in the fund raising was achieved. It was decided that there was a need for such an organization in our community, and a formal organization was formed in March of 1986. Original membership was 12 businesses.
